Fast Labours and Informed Choices: Hustanya’s Empowering Births

In this episode, I chat with Hustanya as she shares her two fast and empowering birth stories. Her first was at a birth centre, where despite never experiencing regular contractions, she suddenly felt the urge to push—and arrived just in time to deliver her baby. For her second, she chose a home birth and had another quick labour, lasting around three hours. Hustanya reflects on how she didn’t even realize home birth was an option at first, because the standard narrative is OBs and hospital births. We talk about how sharing positive, physiological birth stories like hers is so important—because when women know their options, they can make the choices that feel right for them.
